A home inspection for a property in foreclosure will typically have no bearing on the sale. This is because the house or property may be "sold-as-is". These homes should still be inspected so that you will know exactly what condition the house is in.
Occassionally mechanicals such as plumbing, electrical, or heating may not be functioning as they should. It is important that all systems are in good working order so that the property will be liveable. Home inspectors are not able to turn on systems that have been winterized or turned off by utility companies.
At DL Inspections and Home Services, Dave Lehman will walk through the home with you and provide you with a report detailing the condition of the property.
